Swedish Allsvenskan club IFK Göteborg are currently in talks with Asante Kotoko over the possible acquisition of Christopher Nakai Nettey in the next summer transfer window.
According to a report filed by Fox FM, the Swedish top-flight club have tabled an offer in the region of €100,000 to €150,000 to the management of the Ghana Premier League heavyweights to secure the services of the talented full-back.
It is believed that the 22-year-old defender will be leaving the Kumasi-based club to continue his career in Sweden should his parent club agree terms with IFK Göteborg.
Nettey is currently one of the highly-rated right-backs in the Ghana Premier League following his exploits at Asante since his arrival in 2019.
Following his sterling output for his club, he earned a debut call-up to the senior national team of Ghana for international friendlies against Qatar and Mali.
Nettey has had a tremendous campaign for the Porcupine Warriors this season, scoring one goal in 13 game outings.
He joined Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal from Ghanaian based Attram De Visser Academy in December 2019 after a short loan spell at Great Olympics.
