Great Olympics right back, Philip Sackey has admitted that they were hypnotized by the 4-1 defeat meted out to them by Ebusua Dwarfs.
Dwarfs pummeled the Dade Boys 4-1 in match-day 21 at the Cape Coast Stadium on April 24.
The defeat was Great Olympics’ biggest in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
Philip Sackey tells Africa-Foot.com’s Adamu Muftawu about the shock.
“I think for the Dwarfs game, the loss came as a shock to us.
“Because we were playing good football and we started very well but when the first goal came then everything changed.
“We have to keep our concentration and focus on the next game.
“So we are still on, just like I said last time, we just want to make a name for ourselves and families so we are going all out.” Philip Sackey told Adamu Muftawu.
Great Olympics started the season on a good note beating Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in the first round.
They held the Porcupine Warriors to a goalless draw in Accra in the second round and are yet to play their regional rivals, Hearts of Oak.
The two time Ghana league holders have 34 points in 4th position same as Hearts of Oak.
Their next opponent is Liberty Professionals at the Accra Sports Stadium for the week 22 fixture on Sunday, April 2.
