Ghanaian pair Kudus Mohammed and Brian Brobbey have clinched the 2020/21 Dutch Eredivisie title with Ajax following a heavy home victory over FC Emmen on Sunday afternoon.
With three games to end the season, Ajax have lifted their 35th Eredivisie trophy after defeating FC Emmen in their match-week 31 encounter at the Johan Cruijff Arena.
Goals from Jurrien Timber, Sebastien Haller, Devyne Rensch and Davy Klaassen handed the needed points to aid them win their second title of the 2020/21 season after clinching the Dutch Cup last month.
Mohammed was introduced on the 77th minute to replace Ryan Gravenberch whiles Brobbey warmed the bench.
The duo played an instrumental role in their 2020/21 season’s campaign with theirs contributions interms of assists and goals.
Mohammed has scored two goals and provided three assists in his 14 appearaces for Ajax Amsterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie this season so far.
His comapriot, Brobbey has also scored three goals with an assist in his 11 game outings for the club.
Brobbey will be leaving the Dutch Eredivisie champions after the season following the expiration of his contract to join German Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.
He is eligible to represent Ghana at the senior level despite featuring for the Netherlands youth teams.
