Bechem United coach, Kassim Mingle has admitted to facing a stiff opposition from league strugglers, Inter Allies in match-day 22 at home.
The Hunters inflicted a 2-1 defeat on the Capelli Boys at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Sunday.
Kassim Mingle said after their victory.
“I’m happy because when we were coming into this game we knew it was going to be a very difficult game.
“When you are playing a team below or lying bottom of the league table, it[the team] doesn’t fear defeat.
“When you beat that team it is not a news but when he beats you it’s a news.
“So it is difficult to play that game but I’m happy at long last we have won.” Kassim Mingle said.
Bechem United shot themselves into the lead on the 32nd minute through Moro Salifu’s penalty.
Bechem United punished Inter Allies for the second time with two minutes to end the first half when striker, Hafiz Konkoni slotted home the second goal.
Inter Allies managed to pull a goal back on the 69th minute through Hashmin Musah but the goal could not salvage an away point for the visitors.
The win keeps the Hunters in 7th on the league table with 33 points from 22 matches.
