Former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan is not giving up on Legon Cities FC fight to escape relegation.
The Royals lie 16th on the league table with just 23 points from 22 matches in the 2020/21 Ghana premier league.
Having picked just four points from their last five matches, it looks increasingly difficult for Cities to climb out of the relegation zone.
Gyan, 35, who was signed to sort of salvage the club’s poor scoring ability has not replicated his old form on the pitch with injuries limiting his playing time.
The former Sunderland forward is however confident Legon Cities will fight till the end of the league.
“For now we cannot be condemned for relegation although we are not lying in a good position but we will fight to the end.” Asamoah Gyan said.
Legon Cities are reportedly in the market for a new coach after strings of poor showing under the guidance of veteran trainer, Bashir Hayford.
Former Asante Kotoko coach, Maxwell Konadu is believed to be the successor if reports are anything to go by.
