Asante Kotoko head coach, Mariano Baretto says his team is gelling as the league games wear on.
The Portuguese trainer has steered the Porcupine Warriors to three wins, a draw and a defeat in their last five matches.
The record Ghana premier league holders last week squeezed a 1-0 win from strugglers, Legon Cities FC in match day 22 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Baretto said of his team.
“Preparations are going according to plan. We’re now understanding each other.
“We’re working so hard. We haven’t had easy matches.
“We did good things in some of them but didn’t in some of them, and we have put all our focus on these issues”. Baretto told Asantekotokosc.com
Kotoko have kept the chase for the premiership title intact having maintained their top four position.
They have 38 points, seated 3rd on the table from 22 matches.
They will next play in form Dreams FC at the Len Clay Stadium on Saturday, May 8 in match day 23.
