Accra Hearts of Oak creative midfielder, Salifu Ibrahim says he will not be swayed by the numerous “man-of-the-match” awards he has won in the 2020/21 Ghana league season.
The enterprising midfielder has raked into his wardrobe several best “game-day” player awards this season following shining performances for Eleven Wonders and new club, Hearts of Oak.
According sports journalist, Shaban Mohammed, the 20-year-old has a combined 6 MVP awards from Eleven Wonders and Hearts of Oak with 6 assists to his credit.
With these respectable achievements in a young career, Ibrahim does not want to sleep on his oars.
“The game [against King Faisal] was a tough one.
“But little things helped us claim all the three points.
“We listened to the coach’s tactics and there was great unity among us.
“That helped us to win all the three points.
“Winning man of the match is good for me.
“However, I will not let it end there, I will continue to listen to the coaches and continue to give my best in the remaining matches.” Ibrahim Salifu said.
Ibrahim who joined Hearts of Oak from Eleven Wonders, has scored just a goal in the ongoing season.
