Bechem United head coach, Kasim Mingle has admitted that his tactics was disrupted when striker, Hafiz Konkoni got injured.
Konkoni was rushed to the Hospital in their week 24 home game against Hearts of Oak after colliding with Goalkeeper Richard Attah in the first half.
The clash resulted in Hafiz Konkoni failing to continue the game and was rushed to the Bechem Government Hospital where he recieved treatment for a broken arm.
He was later discharged and coach Mingle believes the injury played a big role in their 1-0 defeat to the Phobians.
“It affected us very very much because he is the arrow head of the team.
“He receives the ball and short it for the on coming attackers.
“When he left, the game plan had to change because we don’t have a player like his type so we had to change our game plan.” Kasim Mingle said.
According to reports, Hafiz Konkoni will be out of action for over a month.
Salifu Ibrahim’s 72nd minute goal gave the Phobians all three points to shoot Hearts of Oak into second on 40 points from 24 matches.
The Phobians will next play Elmina Sharks at the Accra Sports Stadium for match day 25.
