We will not enjoy too much despite three straight wins – Samuel Boadu

Accra Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu has ruled out any form of complacency in his camp.

Boadu has led his side to three straight wins in the 2020/21 Ghana premier league.

Hearts of Oak recorded a home win in match day 23 with a 2-0 victory over King Faisal at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The 20 time Ghana champion stunned Bechem United 1-0 at their backyard in match day 24.

Elmina Sharks suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of the Phobians making it three consecutive wins for Samuel Boadu.

The former Medeama trainer will not allow the winning streak sway his camp into a sleeping state.

“With this win I can say we are not going to enjoy it too much because we have more matches ahead of us.

“We are planning towards it and I believe that if we focus on the matches ahead of us and win most of the matches, I believe that it will help us.” Samuel Boadu said.

“I can say we are still on course because we want to achieve something big for the club.

“We need them [the fans] to support the club because it is not an easy match.

“We know that we are going to against Medeama, Olympics, Chelsea and they are not easy matches.

“But we believe in ourselves and I believe in my boys that they will deploy the tactics I will put in place and win all the matches at home.” Samuel Boadu added.

Hearts of Oak are second on the league table with 43 points, two less than rivals, Asante Kotoko.
