Sellas Tetteh: Draw against Kotoko will spur Liberty towards remaining games

Liberty Professionals coach, Sellas Tetteh is looking forward to his side winning the remaining 2020/21 Ghana premier league games.

The Scientific Soccer Lads have struggled to pick points in the ongoing season leading to their poor standing on the league log.

Liberty were eying a win against Kotoko in match day 25 to jump out of the relegation zone but that encounter ended 1-1 in Sogakope on Sunday.

Coach of the side, Sellas Tetteh was not happy about the result but is confident they will build upon that to fight for points in the remaining nine games.

“We were expecting to win [against Kotoko] but it couldn’t but also will project us for subsequent matches we will play.

“But better still we will work very hard, challenges and difficulties in this game[against Kotoko], we have to work towards it and prepare ourselves very well and programme ourselves very well for our subsequent matches.” Sellas Tetteh said.

Liberty Professionals are lying 16th on the league table with 26 points, same as 16th place Legon Cities FC in 15th.

They will next play Cape Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Stadium in match day 26 on Sunday, May 23.
