I have the antidote to Salifu Ibrahim’s firepower – Wonders coach

Head coach of Eleven Wonders, Ignatius Osei Fosu has promised to douse the fire power of Hearts of Oak midfielder, Ibrahim Salifu in their week 26 clash in Techiman.

Wonders host the Phobians on Friday, May 21 at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in the 2020/21 Ghana premier league.

Osei Fosu, who has handled Salifu during his time at Wonders, says he has the antidote to making the seven times man-of-the-match winner look ordinary.

“I know Salifu Ibrahim than any other. He will not get the chance to play his best in our game against Hearts of Oak,” Ignatius Osei Fosu told Pure FM

“I will advise Hearts not to use Salifu Ibrahim ‘Di Maria’ because he can’t play. We know him too much. The best plan for them is not to use him. Salifu will be substituted on the 60th-minute mark if he plays.

“Eleven Wonders have been able to stop any dangerous player in the Ghana Premier League. We only need the 11 v 11 with the only support from both coaches.”

Ibrahim Salifu joined the Phobians in a 3-year deal in an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old has since established himself in Samuel Boadu’s set up.

He has won seven best player awards between Eleven Wonders and Hearts of Oak.

He won four times while at Eleven Wonders before grabbing three times at Hearts of Oak.

His performance has earned him a place in the national U-23 team, the Black Meteors for next month’s international friendly against Japan.
