Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Professionals FC, Linda Ansong has made a stunning revelation about their match day 25 ticketing against Asante Kotoko.
The Scientific Soccer Lads have adopted the Sogakope Park for home games in the 2020/21 Ghana premier league until the end of the season following the revocation of the license of Carl Reindorf Park by the GFA’s Club Licensing Board.
According to reports, Liberty Professionals had informed the GFA of hosting Kotoko behind closed doors at the Sogakope Park in match day 25 but the FA declined and insisted fans attend the game.
With 25% football fans allowed into the various stadia, it was prudent to cash in on the visiting supporters.
Speaking to Kumasi based Oyerepa fm, the Chief Executive of the club, Linda Ansong reveals that, the FA printed and sold tickets at the gates and not the club.
Kotoko managed to pick a 1-1 draw against Liberty Professionals.
Evans Owusu’s long range strike was spilled by Kotoko keeper, Razak Abalora into his net in the first half.
Ismail Abdul Ganiu however headed home the equalizer to settle the game at 1-1 after full time.
Kotoko share top spot with Hearts of Oak on 46 points but the Phobians lead on superior goal difference.
