Legon Cities FC might just escape relegation if they keep the momentum until the end of the 2020/21 Ghana premier league season.
The Royals have impressively picked nine points from their last five matches of the season.
A 1-0 defeat to Kotoko deepened their relegation woes but they quickly recovered to produce a 3-0 and 2-1 wins against Dwarfs and Liberty Professionals respectively.
They fell to WAFA 1-0 at Sogakope before dispatching Aduana Stars 2-0 in match day 26.
They currently sit 11th with 32 points from 26 matches.
Deputy coach of the side, Wahid Mohammed believes the relegation fight is far from over regardless of their rejuvenation.
“It is not over yet, we are still playing, we still have our eight matches to go.
“Currently where we are is just like when you are in the sea, you know there are a lot of crocodiles, so when they come, they can come and catch you.
“You have to move far far about 200 meters before you can say you are out.
“So we are not out yet, we are still playing.” Wahid Mohammed said.
They next travel to Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi as guest of AshantiGold in match day 27.
