Ghana Premier league strugglers, King Faisal will heave a big sigh relief if they retain their status at the end of the 2020/21 season.
The “Insha Allah” Boys started the season on a very bad note having languished at the bottom of the table for most part of the season.
Faisal are playing in the premier league by virtue of the Football Association’s increment in the number of clubs from 16 to 18.
Having shot themselves out of the relegation zone after match day 26, on loan goalkeeper, Danlad Ibrahim says they will make sure they stay up.
“Insha Allah, by God’s grace we are working hard because we have been at the bottom for long.
“Now that we are out, we want to make it a point not to return to the bottom.
“Because hovering around the relegation zone is not a good sign.
“We are hoping and praying that, our hard work will pay off so we are able to stay out of the relegation zone.
“For now we shall make sure we don’t drop into the relegation zone.” Danlad Ibrahim told Oyerepa fm.
Danlad has become the club’s number since joining them on loan from Asante Kotoko.
With vast experience from the national U-17, U-20 and the U-23, the 18-year-old is sure to help King Faisal stay afloat.
He has previous played for Berekum Chelsea on loan.
King Faisal lie 15th with 29 points from 26 matches.
They play Eleven Wonders at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in match day 27 on Sunday, May 30.
