Former Liberty Professionals striker, Bernard Arthur has charged his former club to escape relegation at the end of the season.
The Scientific Soccer Lads are caught in the relegation web with escape looking virtually impossible.
Liberty lie 17th on the 26 week old 2020/21 Ghana premier league table.
Bottom place, Inter Allies trail them by three points and it could be detrimental if the Dansoman based club keep dropping points.
Arthur, who once led the club’s attack, wants his former side to forge hard for more points.
“Liberty Professionals its high time you up a little bit of your game to be in the league rather than writing all the beautiful memories of the club to a lower division.
“I understand sometimes it hard luck but you can do it guys, come on.” Manucho, as Bernard Arthur is affectionately known posted on Facebook.
Liberty have picked just two points from their last five matches.
Two draws against Medeama and Asante Kotoko with three defeats to Great Olympics, Legon Cities and Dwarfs leaves them in the relegation battle.
Their next game is against Dreams FC at their adopted Sogakope Park on Saturday, May 29 for match day 27.
