The top four race for the 2020/21 Ghana premier league is increasingly “becoming difficult” according to Karela United coach, Evans Adotey.
The Anyinase based club’s quest to bridge the gap between themselves and leaders, Hearts and Kotoko was jolted by in form Great Olympics.
A 1-1 draw at home ensured Karela will remain 4th on 43 points, same as Medeama who have a week 27 fixture against basement side, Inter Allies on Sunday.
Evans Adotey said after their 1-1 home draw against Great Olympics in match week 27.
“A win [against Olympics] will have lifted us up closer to the first or second.
“Now that we have given two points away, it will be a bit difficult but we need to go back and prepare against Medeama.” Evans Adotey said after their 1-1 draw at home to Olympics.
Karela have lost steam in the second round after a good start to the season.
Notwithstanding the slow pace of play, they have collected a decent nine points from their last five matches with two wins and three draws.
Evans Adotey will lead his side in search of a point or a possible three in match week 28 on Saturday, June 5 at Tarkwa.
