Nigeria Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick has urged Ghanaians to told Ghana FA Chief, Kurt Okraku in high esteem.
Okraku was elected the WAFU Zone B president at the 14th General Assembly on Saturday, May 22 in Accra.
Kurt was elected unopposed by the fourteen countries present at the elective congress.
NFF president, Amaju Pinnick says Ghanaians are lucky to have Kurt Okraku at the helm of fhe country’s football administration.
“Ghanaians are lucky to have him.
“Kurt would have been president of any federation on the continent.
“Because he somebody that has radiated all the spirit of oneness, leadership sagacity, he is somebody that we believe has a great great future but he needs guidance.
“Not just from colleagues in Ghana and we should always pray because the future is very good for him for that I can tell you and it’s good for African football and good for WAFU.” Pinnick said.
Kurt replaces Nigerien FA capo, Djibrilla Hima who stepped down after seven years in office.
Djibrilla stepped down to focus on other activities at CAF’s Executive council.
Kurt will finish the remaining term of Djibrilla until 2022.
