Head coach of West Africa Football Academy, Prosper Narteh Ogum is happy at the real character shown by his charges in their week 27 fixture.
The Academy Boys battled from almost a drawn game to beat visiting Ebusua Dwarfs 2-1 at the Sogakope Park on Sunday.
Enoch Asubonteng fired the Academy Boys into the lead on the 54th minute.
The Crabs fought back in the second half to pull level on the 68th minute through Richard Addai.
In what looked like almost a drawn game, Dwarfs gifted WAFA with a goal ending the proceedings at 2-1 for the home side.
WAFA coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum believes his side showed real character.
“I think it was a fantastic game, if you look at the way we played, we played typically like WAFA.
“We dominated the entire duration of the game, trying to build up from defence to midfield through to attack.
“If you look at the game carefully, we dictated the tempo through out the game.
“We played with the right temperament, the right mentality, we created a lot of spaces behind their defence and I’m not surprised we won by 2-1.” Prosper Narteh Ogum said.
WAFA lie 6th with 42 points from 27 matches and will next play Liberty Professionals at the Sogakope Park in match day 28 on Sunday, June 6 at 3:00pm.
