Ex-Asante Kotoko defender, Sarfo Gyamfi has tipped Great Olympics to surprise Hearts of Oak and Kotoko to the 2020/21 Ghana premier league title.
The “dade boys” are in the form of their lives in the ongoing season having collected 7 points from their last five games.
The two times Ghana league winners defeated Hearts of Oak 2-0 in the first round and produced a 1-0 win and a goalless draw against Kotoko in the first and second round respectively.
They will be up against Hearts of Oak on Sunday, June 6 in a crunchy regional derby at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Sarfo Gyamfi believes Olympics have enough quality to surprise Ghana’s two biggest clubs.
“Olympics is one of the top teams in the league.
“They have a very good team and they have a great teamwork.
“Kotoko or Hearts can win the league but for me, I see Olympics as one of the underdogs to win the league title.” Sarfo Gyamfi said.
Hearts of Oak lead the league table with 49 points from 27 matches with Kotoko trailing by two points in second.
Kotoko are home to AshantiGold at the Len Clay Stadium on Sunday, June 6.
