AshantiGold goalkeeper, Kofi Mensah has admitted that pressure is mounting on them with six games to end the season.
The Miners have lost three consecutive games in the 2020/21 Ghana premier league since pinning down Great Olympics 1-0 in week 25 at the Len Clay Stadium.
Medeama SC, Legon Cities and Asante Kotoko have inflicted a 1-0 defeat on AshantiGold in their last three matches.
The horrible results have left the former Ghana champions out of the top four race almost completely.
Kofi Mensah said of the pressure after their 1-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko on match day 28 at the Len Clay Stadium.
“We are under serious pressure because we have to win our next home game.
“We need to win all the next six points.
“If we claim all the six points, the pressure will no longer be there but for now we are under pressure.
“So we have to focus on our next games.” Kofi Mensah said.
AshantiGold lie 10th on the Ghana premier league league with 38 from 28 matches.
Their next game is against Dwarfs at home on Sunday, June 13 at 3:00pm.
