Elmina Sharks forward, Benjamin Bernard Boateng is not giving up on scoring more goals in the 2020/21 Ghana premier league.
The 21-year-old has scored just five goals in 19 appearances this season.
The lanky forward has grappled with incessant injuries this term, stalling his scoring rate in the process.
The man termed as “mosquito” by football fans due to his physical make up, believes he can still score more.
“It’s [however] not too late because we have seven matches to go,” Bernard Boateng told Africa-Foot.com.
“So I will work hard so I can get my ten goals.” Benjamin Bernard Boateng told Africa-Foot.com.
Boateng prior to the season, set a 10-goal target but he is five goals short with six games to end the campaign.
He tallied seven goals in 13 games in the truncated 2019/20 league season.
He has been a key member of Sharks last season but the club has undergone challenges this term.
Their woes were deepened when they fell 2-0 to Dreams FC at the Dawu Park in week 28 last weekend.
They lie 16th on the league log with 31 points from 28 games.
