Head coach of Medeama SC, Yaw Preko has linked his side’s defeat against Hearts of Oak to “mother-luck” failing to smile at them.
The Mauve and Yellow fell 2-0 to the Phobians in match day 29 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Preko, who filled in the coaching vacuum left by current Hearts of Oak coach, Samuel Boadu, attributes “hard luck” to their defeat.
“Hard luck, hard luck, you saw the game,we played really well but unfortunately we just couldn’t take our chances.
“Tactically you know my boys are really good, they can play football so to stop them, you have to be fouling them and that’s exactly what happened.
“We have to keep on going, it’s not finished, we have to keep on going.
“It’s unfortunate we came in for the three points but like I said, we were really unlucky.” Yaw Preko said
Salifu Ibrahim and Benjamin Afutu’s first and second half goals sunk the Tarkwa based club.
Medeama despite the defeat lie 4th on the league table with 46 points same as Karela United in 3rd.
