Karela United midfielder, Umar Bashir says he cannot wait to get hold of at least a premier league trophy in his career.
The creative star is a key cog in Karela’s midfield machinery in the 2020/21 Ghana premier league season.
Having had a fruitful beginning at West Africa Football Academy, he was snapped up by Kotoko for the 2018/19 season.
The Porcupine Warriors however dispensed with his service following a patchy outing in the 2019/20 season.
He joined Karela on a free transfer for the 2020/21 season and has established himself in the middle.
The 23-year-old has eyes on at least adding a league title to his curriculum vitae.
“It’s the dream of every player to win a league title in his career.
“We will be very happy if we win the league and there are a lot of excitement in winning the league.
“Even when we were leading, when we were first on the league table, we were very very happy and very excited about how much it will feel winning the league.
“We will be very very happy.” Umar Bashiru told Africa-Foot.com.
