Austria based Ghana winger, Seth Paintsil says he has no thought about ending his career in the Ghana Premier League.
His comment come on the backdrop of former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan’s return to the Ghana league with Legon Cities FC.
A number of players who once tasted the Ghana league have returned after sojourn abroad with the likes of Gladson Awako and Emmanuel Clottey making impact.
The former SV Ried left winger has no ambition of retuning to play in the Ghana league before hanging his boots.
“I don’t think I will like to come back to Ghana and play.
“When I retire I don’t think it makes sense to come back and play for a club in the Ghana Premier League.
“Because if you retire, you retire and if you have a business you focus on that and not to play again,” Seth Paintsil told Africa-foot.com.
Seth Paintsil was part of the BA United squad that qualified for the 2007/08 Ghana Premier League.
He joined Finnish side, FF Jaro in the 2014/15 season before he was snapped up by Admira Wacker of Austria. He signed for SV Ried as a free agent in the 2019/20 league season. He has since left the club.
