Head coach of Windy Professionals, Nurudeen Ahmed is elated at the strong competition given to premier league leaders, Hearts of Oak in the MTN FA Cup.
Despite the lower tier side falling 4-1 to the Phobians in round 32 of the FA Cup competition, Coach Nurudeen believes he side gave Hearts of Oak a stiff competition.
“I think it was a good game, high intensity football.
We knew were going to play a very good side, well experienced side.
“Looking at their position on the league log and their current form should tell us that, they are a team with good players.
“We expected to have this challenge, actually we worked for it and then we were able to give them [Hearts of Oak] a good game.
“So I think it’s also going to help them to prepare for their subsequent matches.” Nurudeen Ahmed said.
