Vorskla Poltava and Ghana defender, Najeeb Yakubu has told Africa-foot.com that he is not in a rush to leave his current club.
Yakubu, 20 , joined the Ukrainian top flight side from Newtown Youth in 2018 on a 3-year deal.
With his contract expected to expire at the end of the 2020/21 league season, Vorskla extended his stay until 2024 following a good outing.
Yakubu, who had a brief stay at Ghana lower tier side, UniStar Academy, says he is still on a learning curve.
“You have to be ready to move to a new club.
“For now I am learning because there is a lot I have to learn.
“I want to keep learning so I get to the level I want to.
“If the club interested in me will help me develop why not, I will be ready to move.
“If the club that interest in me will not help me develop, I will take my time before making any move.” Najeeb Yakubu told Africa-foot.com.
Yakubu made 19 appearances and just an assist in the just ended season.
He played a key role in Ghana’s participation at the 2017 Africa U-17 tournament in Gabon.
