Tunisian international, Ferjan Sassi is likely to renew his contract at Egypt club, Zamalek Sporting Club or land a new deal at money bags, Pyramids FC.
The 29-year-old, who’s contract ran out with the White Knights at the end of June 30, has several interests abroad on the table.
Sassi, who’s value is over €2m, is highly linked with Qatari club, Al-Rayyan as well as Iranian top flight club, Persepolis FC.
The central midfielder made 6 appearances with 2 assists for Zamalek in the 2020/21 CAF Champions League.
The gangling midfielder has previously played for Tunisian sides, CS Sfaxien and Esperance and Metz of France.
He had a stint with Saudi Arabia club, Al Nassr in the 2017/18 season before joining Zamalek in 2018.
Sassi has won the Egypt Super Cup, CAF Confederation Cup, CAF Super Cup with Zamalek.
Prior to that he is a winner of the Tunisian league and the CAF Confederation Cup with Tunisia’s CS Sfaxien in 2013.
