Great Olympics head coach, Annor Walker has hailed the club’s fans for their unflinching support for him and the team.
Annor Walker has shaped the “Dade Boys” into a tough side in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League which has seen them produced good results against Hearts of and Kotoko in the first round.
They defeated Kotoko 1-0 and Hearts of Oak 2-0 in the first round with second ending goalless between Kotoko and 1-1 against Hearts of Oak.
Walker was briefly replaced by current Medeama coach, Yaw Preko when he was taken ill.
He returned to the side and the three time Ghana champions ground results in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
Walker believes the fans have been his and the club’s backbone.
“I will like to thank the fans because when we started the league, they have supported me and the club.
“When I was taken ill, they still supported me very well and when I recovered and returned to work, the fans didn’t give up on me.
“I will thank the fans and tell them not give up as the league wears on.
“The league log will change and we will climb up the ladder with four games left.
“I believe before we clear the remaining four games, we will shall finish well.” Annor Walker said.
Great Olympics currently lie 5th on the league log with 48 points from 30 matches.
