Head coach of Hasaacas Ladies, Yusif Basigi has expressed confidence in his side which will represent Ghana in the next CAF Women’s Champions League.
Hasaacas Ladies hammered Ampem Darkoa Ladies 4-0 to win the 2020/21 Ghana Women’s League.
Doris Boaduwaa scored a brace with Evelyn Badu and Faustina Nyame Aidoo also on target as Hasaacas Ladies lifted their 5th title.
With their victory, Hasaacas Ladies will represent Ghana in the maiden Caf Women’s Champions League.
Yusif Basigi said, “The battle is not over yet because we still have FA Cup finals to play and that is not all.
“That will put us in shape for the Africa Women’s Championship.
“And this a clear manifestation that when we go to Africa, we shall do our best.
“Because we are going there to qualify if not to win and that is our ultimate, to win to qualify for the Super Championship in Egypt so it is preparation on course,” Yusif Basigi said.
Hasaacas Ladies will surely come up against top clubs from other countries at the championship.
How prepared are the Ghana champions for the tough challenge? Basigi added, “We are more than ready, you can just see, you can see their performance. Very very splendid performance today.
“And we are not complacent at all. We are focused and we are getting on for sure.” Yusif Basigi said.
