Ghana forward, David Accam registered his first goal of the season as his club, Hammarby IF were held to a 1-1 draw by Halmstad BK in the Swedish top flight on Sunday.
Accam, who replaced Bayere Junior Loue on the 58th minute, scored on the 72nd minute after a barren first half at the Tele2 Arena.
The goal is Accam’s first since joining Hammarby on loan from US side, Nashville SC.
Accam’s lead was pegged back as Halmstad drew level in the 91st minute through Marcus Antonsson, who was set up by Ghanaian attacker Sadat Karim.
The 30-year-old has played 8 mactches with no assist in the Swedish Allsvenskan this season.
Fellow Ghanaian, Sadat Karim who provided his club’s assist, enjoyed full time for Halmstad BK.
Hammarby are 8th on the league log with 12 points with Halmstads BK 10th with 10 points after match day 9.
