Great Olympics defender, Philip Sackey has described their narrow 1-0 defeat to Eleven Wonders in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League as “painful.”
The “Dade Boys” were shocked at their back yard when Abdul Ganiu Abass sent Wonders ahead with five minutes to full time.
The two times Ghana champions chased the equalizer in futility with Wonders claiming all three points after the entire duration at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Sackey, who has been key in Olympics campaign in the past season , talks about the painful defeat.
“It was a very painful defeat considering the fact that we played at home.
“We wanted to be in the top four but I think with the two games left, if we are able to win, we can make it to the top four. We have to concentrate on the next two games.
“We played well though we missed several chances. I think we have to take the positives from the game and then look forward to the next game.” Philip Sackey said.
The defeat sinks Great Olympics down to 5th position on the 2020/21 league log with 49 points from 32 matches.
