Inter Allies coach, Felix Aboagye has tipped Hearts of Oak winger, Daniel Afriyie Barnie to win the Best Player Award at the end of the 2020/21 Ghana league season.
Aboagye’s comments come in the wake of Afriyie Barnieh’s great performances by the Hearts of Oak winger.
The CAF U-20 AFCON winner’s performance has helped the Phobians inch closer to ending an eleven year league trophy drought.
Afriyie Barnie early this year led the black Satellites to conquer Africa at the U-20 Championship in Mauritania and has scored some important goals which has aided the Phobians in the league campaign .
Speaking to Starr Sports , Coach Felix Aboagye says Afriyie Barnie has been exceptional and deserves to win the most valuable player of the season award.
“I think Barnie of Hearts of Oak has been exceptional , scoring important goals for them and he has also been able to carry the team in difficult times so I think he stands out this season to win the best player accolade.
“Without him, I don’t think Hearts of Oak will be where they are now though it’s a collective effort but he has been incredible this season for them and I think he is indeed one for the future and we need to keep our eyes on him.”Fleix Aboagye told Starr Sports .
