West Africa Football Academy marred the coronation of league winners, Hearts of Oak at the Sogakope Park on the final day of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

Prosper Narteh Ogum is head coach of WAFA and has spoken highly about the pattern of his team’s play.

“It’s been amazing it’s been fantastic, if you look at the intensity of the game, the intelligence level of the boys, how they were able to circulate the ball especially under pressure, how they were able to create spaces to receive the passes and how they were able to surge forward, it was just amazing.
“It’s beyond my comprehension, they have done very very well and I’m proud of them.” Prosper Narteh Ogum said.

The victory meant that WAFA will finish third on the league log with the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season closed.
WAFA raked home an impressive 56 points ahead of top clubs like, Medeama SC, Great Olympics, Aduana Stars, Karela United and AshantiGold.
