Hearts of Oak defender, Caleb Amankwah once again showed why he is not a mistake of a purchase for the Phobians.
Amankwah was to the rescue of Hearts of Oak in their MTN FA Cup quarter final clash against Elmina Sharks at the Nduom Stadium when his free kick sent the Phobians into the semi finals.
He was adjudged man-of-the-match when Hearts of Oak sliced three goals past Medeama SC in the semi finals at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday, August 1 to set up a finals clash against AshantiGold.
Amankwah who joined Hearts of Oak as free agent after leaving Aduana Stars, has credited coach Samuel Boadu for his reformation.
“Coach Samuel Boadu is helping my style of play because of how he deploys me in games.
“As a player you need to adapt to every position on the field.
“He gives me specific instructions which helps me do the work.
“I think Samuel Boadu is the reason behind my play.” Caleb Amankwah said.
Caleb Amankwah is a Premier League winner with the Phobians who won the 2020/21 league season to clinch their 1st and 21st league title in 11-years.
He will be key for Hearts of Oak as they prepare to play in the 2021/22 CAF Champions League.
