Signing for a big club as a player is a big story but the real deal is starting a game in the club’s jersey in front of its large crowd.
That is what midfielder, Richmond Lamptey cannot wait to do with Ghana Premier League record holders, Asante Kotoko. The lanky midfielder joined the Porcupine Warriors in a 3-year deal from relegated Inter Allies.
Lamptey was the brightest spot for Inter Allies who were relegated from the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League after placing bottom of the standings with 26 points.
Lamptey who is noted for scoring goals from long range strikes, tweeted.
He made an impressive record last term, scoring three goals with two assists from 27 appearances for the Eleven-Is-to-One Boys. Richmond Lamptey alongside Wamanafo Mighty Royals defender, Maxwell Kofi Agyemang are Kotoko’s latest signings.
