Experienced Ghanaian coach, Seth Hoffman has been offered yet another platform to display his technical prowess in the 2021/22 Ghana domestic football season.
The opportunity to do so is however a step backwards from the his previous Ghana Premier League experience.
Hoffman, a disciplinarian by nature has been appointed the new head coach of Division One League club, Nzema Kotoko for the next two years.
He is expected to bring his vast experience from the local league into helping Nzema Kotoko qualify for next season’s Ghana top flight league after several attempts have failed.
Seth Hoffman said about building a formidable team and achieving the club’s primary objective of playing premier league football next term.
“One is to develop the boys to a different level.
“Second target is to make sure that Nzema Kotoko’s name is lifted up back again.
“And the third target is the objective of the club, that the team has to qualify [for the premier league] and I believe that the Lord will take absolute control and we will qualify.” Seth Hoffman said
Qualifying for the Premier League requires a lot of time, financial, technical and human resource investment and Seth Hoffman is looking forward to the new challenge.
“The management decided to give me a chance after several consultations and I also did not turn my back against them.
“I believe it’s another challenge because with football every season has its story.
“But I believe as the the league is about kicking off in the next two weeks, we are going to work hard and we are going to push so that we can achieve the goals.” Seth Hoffman said.
Seth Hoffman’s previous coaching experience include a caretaker role at 21 time and current Ghana Premier League holders, Accra Hearts of Oak. He once handled the Phobians’ feeder club, Auroras.
He had another spell at Hearts of Oak’s regional rivals, Accra Great Olympics before taking up the baton at former Premier League champions, Berekum Chelsea for the 2020/21 season.
