Ghana Black Stars head coach, Milovan Rajevac has described the last 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against South Africa as a “final clash.”
The Black Stars were held to a 1-1 draw by Ethiopia on Thursday at the Orlando Stadium to make qualification into the final round a bit challenging.
Skipper, Andre Ayew shot the Black Stars into the lead with a well taken free kick on the 22nd minute after a drab start.
Ethiopia sold out a good game in the second half which resulted in the equalizer on the 72nd minute from captain, Getaneh Kebede.
Milovan Rajevac said: “Definitely, everything will be decided in the last match and this what we expect.
“Last match will be like a final match, deciding match, to go the final round.
“We all have to approach this game seriously and we all have to do our best to make this happen.” Milovan Rajevac said through an interpreter.
The Black Stars need to score twice without conceding to move into the final round of the qualifiers.
Ghana has 10 points in second with leaders, South Africa on 13 points after beating Zimbabwe 1-0 on Thursday evening. The last game is set for the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday, November 14.
