Hearts of Oak striker, Kofi Kordzi has been left disappointed with the club’s winless streak in three opening games of the 2021/22 league season.
The well built forward made a return to the club after a brief stint with Dubai side, Al Muaither and has not done badly after three matches.

The 26-year-old has played 270 minutes in all three games – scoring two goals which came in an away duel against West Africa Football Academy in week two and Aduana Stars in week three in Accra.
He opened the flood gate for Hearts of Oak against Aduana Stars in week three with just 10 minutes played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

A well laid pass by midfielder, Salifu Ibrahim saw Kordzi plant the ball at the blind side of Joseph Adjei in post for the “Ogya Boys.”
His goal was however cancelled by Bright Agyei from the spot after Hearts defender, Mohammed Alhassan was adjudged to have brought him [Bright Agyei] down in the 78th minute.

The 1-1 draw means the defending champions have gone three games without a win and Kordzi, who was named the MVP of the match admits it is a bad start for the club.
“Today’s game was a little bit difficult but you know we stuck to our tactical game and we earned a point.
“It’s a very difficult task you know because as champions and three games without a win is very shameful but you know we are very very disappointed but we will try to get back.
“Because it’s not easy because as a champion everybody is trying beat the champion so it’s very difficult.” Kofi Kordzi said.

Their next stop will be the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi against AshantiGold in match week four.
The Phobians are likely to miss their week five clash at home to former champions, Berekum Chelsea due to their CAF Confederation Cup tie with Algeria side, Jeunesse Sportive de Saoura this month.
Hearts of Oak engage JS Saoura in the first leg on November 28 at the Accra Sports Stadium before a trip for the second in Algeria on December 5.
