Berekum Chelsea captain, Jackson Owusu is hoping for a better performance in their subsequent games.
Berekum Chelsea have made a very poor start to the season, picking just a point in three opening games of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
The 2010 Ghana champions opened their season with a 1-0 defeat at premier league debutants, Bibiani Gold Stars at the Dun’s Park.

They were held to a goalless draw at home by last season’s survivors, Eleven Wonders in the second week before sinking 2-1 in week three at the Crosby Awuah Memorial to Karela United.
Owusu who joined Chelsea after a brief stint in Kenya with Gor Mahia said: “It was a nice game but since we have lost, it did not go well for us.
“We have just started the league and everyone is prepared.
“We pray that in our subsequent matches everything will be fine.” Jackson Owusu said.

Jackson Owusu was named Man of the Match in the matchday two encounter against Techiman Eleven Wonders at the Golden City Park.
The 33-year-old joined giants, Asante Kotoko in 2014 where he became key in midfield for the Porcupine Warriors.
His performance with the record Ghana Premier League holders earned him place Maxwell Konadu’s WAFU squad.
He was part of the Ghana local Black Stars squad that won the 2013 WAFU Nations Cup after beating Senegal 3-1 in the final.
Berekum Chelsea will next host King Faisal at the Golden City Park in week four.
