AshantiGold have a mountain to climb as they host Hearts of Oak post coach Ernest Thompson era.
The Miners welcome the defending champions at the Len Clay Stadium for a week four duel with ex-Ghana international, Thomas Duah at the helm following the sack of Ernest Thompson.
The clash looks mountainous because Hearts of Oak will need three points badly after opening three games of the season without a win.
AshantiGold on the other hand have clocked four points from three games and equally need a three points to stay up the ladder.
AshantiGold winger, Mathew Agama is targeting a win over the Phobians.
“This week we have done hundred percent work out with our new coach [Thomas Duah],.
“He came yesterday and we worked together as a team so Hearts of Oak we know is a very big team and since we started the league last season, whenever we meet them, it’s is a tough match.
“I think this week we are already to give out hundred percent job,” Agama told Ghanasportspage.
“Sure, we will beat them because our position now is very bad, we don’t deserve to be there as you know AshantiGold is a big club so we deserve to be on top.
“As you know we personally supposed to give hundred percent to the staff and also the supporters.
“We didn’t give hundred percent last season. Our position on the table last season was very bad. We deserve more and we shall really win that very match.” Agama added.
