Head coach of Legon Cities FC, Maxwell Konadu has admitted that his side simply gave away all three points to Aduana Stars in week five.
The Royals hosted the “Ogya Boys” at the Accra Sports Stadium in a bid to claim all three points but suffered a 1-0 loss after the game.
Coming from an impressive 2-2 draw against West Africa Football Academy in week four, Legon Cities tried all they could but were pinned down by Yahaya Mohammed’s solitary strike.

The veteran forward struck a thunderbolt with 30 minutes played which eventually stood as the opener and the only goal of match.
Maxwell says, they faulted and allowed Aduana Stars pick all three points.
“I think Aduana [Stars] has early free kick and they took it, we had the same thing but we couldn’t take ours.

“This Ghana Premier League you have to take your chances, that is one thing we have to understand, we have to take our chances.
“So we have accepted the defeat though we know we played better but it’s a defeat that I think that we gave this match away.
“So we only have to go back and work hard and try to take our chances when it comes,” Maxwell Konadu said.

“There is nothing you can do, the chances game, we did all the effort that we supposed to do but I think their goalkeeper was good on the day so we only have to go back and fight back and try to go to Obuasi and also win.” Maxwell Konadu added.
Legon Cities remain on two draws, one win and a defeat with five points in their wardrobe while Aduana Stars come up to two draws, two wins a defeat, recording 8 points. The Royals next travel to AshantiGold in week six at the Len Clay Stadium.
