Former Board Chairman of Asante Kotoko, Herbert Mensah has predicted that the Porcupine Warriors have what it takes to win the 2021/22 league title.
Kotoko, are the record league holders with 24 titles but have gone without a silverware in the last seven seasons.

The nine time FA Cup winners finished second on 57 points to arch rivals, Hearts of Oak last season but have started well this term.
Having gone five matches with four wins and a draw this season, Kotoko top the league log with 13 points and Herbert Mensah has tipped them to annex the league title provided there is unity.

“Kotoko is bigger than every individual, every time there’s a dispute or people are annoyed or there are factions, what people fail to realize is that kotoko is bigger than everyone else.
“I still stand by it that Kotoko will win the league with unity, also I think kotoko is the best prepared team and stronger than all the other clubs.
“If you love Kotoko support kotoko not individuals.” Herbert Mensah told Akoma fm.

Kotoko have maybe began facing tougher opponents after going down by a man in a goalless draw at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Anyinase in the fifth week.
They will again see another tough test against city rivals, King Faisal in week six at the Baba Yara Stadium in December.
