“Referees have been robbing Bechem United of away wins“ – Kasim Mingle

Head coach of Bechem United, Kasim Mingle has attributed their unimpressive away form to poor refereeing by the officials.

The Hunters have played three away matches – recording two losses and a draw in the six weeks old 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.

Their away losses have come against Asante Kotoko [2-0] at the Baba Yara Stadium in week two and a week four defeat to Premier League entrants, Accra Lions [2-1] at the Accra Sports Stadium.

They squeezed a point from Great Olympics in Accra on Sunday to complete a 10 point haul after week six.

Kasim Mingle did not mince words when he said referees mete out bad officiating against them in away games.

“They’ve been robbing us whenever we go to away, that’s what happens.

“This is what happened, today [against Great Olympics] we scored a clear goal, no, we had a clear penalty no, so what could we do?. There is nothing we could do.

“It’s a complete robbery, you want me to change and say they have been cheating us?

“Do you like the cheating?

“You know the rules, you are a referee, you know the rules that this is a goal and you say no? It’s a robbery.

“They can call me to Status Committee and they will bring the clip for us to watch together.

“And when we watch it together what will happen? We will watch it together and they will understand what I’m saying.

“It’s very painful to come far away from this place, to come and play, score a clear goal and the referee disallowed it, it’s not right.

“I just watched it, that’s why I have confidence speaking like that.” Kassim Mingle told Africa-foot.com.

Bechem United who sit 5th on the standing, are traveling again, this time to Bibiani against another new boys, Gold Stars in week seven.
