Head coach of Real Tamale United, Shaibu Tanko has revealed what he told his charges which helped them hold Asante Kotoko.
The premier league returnees held Kotoko to a 1-1 draw at the Baba Yara Stadium in match day eight on Wednesday.

The draw confirmed Kotoko to two games without a win after losing 3-2 to King Faisal in week six at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Shaibu Tanko, who has previously handled Hearts of Oak, has transformed RTU into a strong force in the 2021/22 league season.
He told StarTimes reporter: “Like I said earlier, our team is a well composed team, they are young guys who are hungry for success.

“I told them that Kotoko is just ordinary, they are colleagues so when they cut them blood will come out so they should go and meet them as such so that is the result.
Real Tamale United have 11 points seated in 8th after eight matches. Their next opponent will be Elmina Sharks at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Sunday.
