Head coach of Elmina Sharks, Mallam Yahaya has decided to abstain from talking about a supposed poor officiating in their slim defeat to Hearts of Oak.
Sharks fell 1-0 at the Nduom Stadium in match week eight through Gladson Awako’s expertly struck 72nd minute goal.
Mallam Yahaya said: “I think it’s not a bad game, both teams played very well, tactically we played very good.
“We got our chances but we couldn’t make it but I don’t want to talk about the officiating, that one I will very quiet.
“Everybody saw it, what the referee did but it’s normal.
“We accept the loss, we are going to correct our mistakes for the next match so that we can back up and also win the match,” Mallam Yahaya said.
“We play good, we create chances but the only thing is finishing is the problem.
“We are going to work that finishing; we have another nine matches to go for the first round so we are trying to at least back up and then try to win many matches before the first round.” Mallam Yahaya added.
Sharks now sit 8th with seven points from eight games of the league season.
