Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum says the club did not miss the services of Salifu Mudasiru and Isaac Oppong.
The duo missed the Porcupine Warriors’ 1-1 draw against Real Tamale United at the Baba Yara Stadium in match day eight on Wednesday.
Mudasiru had picked three yellow cards with Oppong out with injury making them ineligible for the clash against the “Pride of the North.”

Mudasiru and Oppong have all played six games and their addition could have been paramount against RTU but head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum does not believe their absence hurt his match day squad.
“We didn’t really miss them [Salifu Mudasiru and Isaac Oppong] because we played our game occluding to our game plan and we created the chances.

“If they were to be in, fine, they could have also added some quality to the team.
“So we didn’t really miss them, I mean if you look at the game we played it was a good game.
“All the players on the field gave out their best but just that we couldn’t win that’s all.
“It’s a league we are playing, this is match day eight so we have a lot to play.
“It’s 34 matches so I mean this shouldn’t be a worry at all.” Prosper Narteh Ogum said.

Asante Kotoko led the game through Cameroonian, Mbella Frank Thierry but David Abagna Sandan equalized later the second half to peg the game at 1–1 after 90 minutes.
The 24 time Ghana league title holders have now raked home 14 points from eight games. They are yet to win a game in two matches.
