Club Deportivo Hernan Cortes have secured the signature of Ghanaian youngsters, Fuseini Mohammed, Ibrahim Sad and Abdul Basit Sualla on a year loan deal with an option to buy.
They become the latest Ghanaian players to join a growing number of youngsters from the West African country to be signed by lower division sides in Spain.
The trio joins the long train of Star Makers players signed by Cortes who have already signed Baba Awal, Lucky Yaw James, Awuley Abdul Rahman and Albert Addo during 2020/21 season.
19-year- old midfielder Ibrahim is rated by his technical prowess, due to his vision and passing accuracy on the field of play. He managed to score two goals and one assist in five league match during the 2020/21 Second Division League.
20-year-old striker Sualla who is a goal poacher was involved in eight goals during the 2020/21 season. He scored six goals and assisted twice in six league matches.
19-year-old winger Mohammed who hardly needs any space or time to become dangerous was invited into the camps of Ghana National U20 this August.
He is predominantly a left-footed player with speed and creativity which causes opponents defenders back-paddling when he is with the ball.
“ We’re in great relationships with Hernan Cortes. This project won’t be off anytime soon but grow to flourish like the pretty rose flower.” Club president and owner Issah Mohammed Kumai Toure said.
