The Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park will witness hostilities between a club and its former employee as the Ghana Women’s Leagues kicks off this weekend.
Selasi Pentem Emmanuel is the current coach of Thunder Queens and he will lead side against his former club, Soccer Intellectuals in week one of the 2021/22 WPL.
Selasi Emmanuel has a rich experience in both women football and general coaching and it is not surprising that he doubles as the first assistant coach of Ghana’s U-17 Female National Team, the Black Maidens.

The young tactician’s impressive resumé includes a CAF License B Certificate of which he is looking to further in due course.
Aside from his coaching career, Selassie Emmanuel is a qualified Physical Education tutor at the Mando Senior High School in the Ajumako Eyan Essiam in the Central Region of Ghana.

Soccer Intellectuals replaced Selassie Emmanuel with former Sea Lions trainer, Ali Yakubu who is equally shrewd in tactics.
The encounter is expected to be a battle of technical brains but Emmanuel is expected to reign supreme on Friday, December 17.
