Accra Lions winger, Fawzan Dandawa has said that most Ghanaian clubs focus on winning games and not quality style of play.
The 18-year-old wide-man has played a major part of the club’s debut season where they have won just two games, drawn two and lost five times.
The lanky forward has moments to forget in their back-to-back defeats in a week nine league game and the FA Cup round 64 to defending champions, Hearts of Oak.

Having enjoyed much possession in the latter part of both clashes yet lost to the Phobians, Fawzan Dandawa has come to terms with the fact that, some Ghanaian clubs focus solely on winning games.
He adds that, the premier league is not above them but their style does not just fall in line with the Ghanaian football.

“It’s [Premier League] not big for us but it’s that the type of ball we want to play is not associated with Ghana.
“We want to play good soccer and you can see that Ghana here all of them they concentrate on winning.
“This club is a business club, we are not targeting the league but if we see the league no problem.” Fawzan Dandawa told Africa-foot.com.

Accra Lions gained promotion to the premier league last season from Zone III but the beginning of their entry has been far from impressive.
The recently parted ways with their German coach, Rainer Kraft with his place now taken by British trainer, James Nicholas Francis.
They sit third from bottom of the 18-club league with 8 points from nine games with week 10 premier league opponents being Real Tamale United at home on Monday, December 27.
