Dreams FC youngster, Ishmael Dede will savour his debut for the club in week 10 of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
The 18-year-old got the club’s second goal and his first of the season in the second half for a 2-1 lead at 81 minutes.
Dede, who has risen from the Dreams fc’s youth system, latched on to Agyenim Boateng’s penetrative pass to slot the ball beautifully behind Richmond Ayi in Hearts of Oak’s post.
The “Still Believe” Boys however settled for a 2-2 when Salim Adams rose from the bench to draw level for the defending Champions at the Dawu Park on Saturday.
Ishmael Dede has been left basking in his debut appearance and goal for the in form side.
“I thank God Almighty for this great opportunity.
“It’s very hard for a young boy like me to be in such a tough game and showing my talent.“So once again I just give thanks to the Almighty because I know what I can do.
“I believe in myself, I know I can play more than what they expect.
“So it’s not something new to me, I just thank God and the coach for giving me an opportunity for me to prove my talent for the world to see,” Ishmael Dede said.
“I always told myself that, any time I get to start this Premier League, I get to start from the first 11, I will score a goal.
“Before they will even sub me I will make sure I score a goal so God being so good it has come to pass and I played the full minutes so I just thank God for everything.” Ishmael Dede added.
The 2-2 draw gives Dreams FC 15 points in 4th after 10 matches and they will travel to the Aliu Mahama Stadium to face Real Tamale United in week 11 next year.
